I found this part of England to be unique and strange. The land is below sea level and pancake flat, the only vertical elements seem to be man-made and I found that there were many aspects that had a film-set quality, something that I wanted to capture. Again I like the idea of space here, and the light was simply beautiful,, which I felt gave a surreal quality to what superficially was an ‘ordinary’ visual arrangement.
