I shot this just a few minutes after the other shot of the same scene on here. The sunset just went on changing colour slightly for a little after this, with the evening encroaching and all the lights in the buildings coming on. Wonderful scene.

I live in the Ring of Fire, too, near Mt St Helens USA, and Mounts Adams and Baker as well. It was Mt St Helens that blew up about 30 years ago, now. (Couldn’t be! that sounds like so much time has gone by! I’m not that old yet!!!)
