The Three Amigos: VW Beetle Graveyard, Wales, UK

I originally shot this on a Bronica medium format camera back in 1989. The print was made on Agfa Record Rapid paper and toned with selenium. At the very end of my time at art college in Plymouth, someone stole my negative file…. all of these negs went. Sad, sad, very sad.

This shot was made by using the colour transparency that was shot at the exact same spot as the original black and white. Converted to monochrome in Photoshop and the little red letters and old vintage postmarks added.

    Thanks Mimi. This is an all-time favourite picture of mine, partly because of the shot but there are a lot of memories wrapped up in it.
