The Vermeer Cat; Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan

I was walking the streets in Asakusa, teaching one of my photography students, when we saw two cats, one sleeping under the vending machine and another wandering on the pavement. My student said ‘Oh, wow, there’s another’ and sure enough, this fella was just sat in the doorway. Looking a bit like a Vermeer painting.
