I’m a British freelance photographer now living in Tokyo. I trained in photography & film between 1988 and 1991, in Manchester and Plymouth in the UK. I spent almost 12 years in the music business, in the publicity and promotions side of things during which time I had a lot of my music photography published in the UK press and abroad. From 2002 to early 2008 I shared a web and graphic design business with a business partner in the UK. That all ended in April of this year and although I still work on some graphic design and web projects, I am now concentrating almost all my time on photography.

I have had two shows since moving back to Japan in October of 2007 and by Christmas 2009 there wil be a couple of books of my work coming out.

I shoot for the NipponNews agency in Japan. Other clients include: The Wall Street Journal, The BBC, Q Magazine, Metropolis Magazine, Japan Today and Japan Inc.

I teach photography in Tokyo and offer photowalks and tours for visitors. You can find more details of these services at:
