Shelly Beach 6 am Valentines Day

I took this photo on the 14 Feb 2009. Valentines Day. What you can’t see in this image is how bad the rain was that day. I got soaked and my gear got wet.

This is a 3exp HDR generated in photomatix and then touched up a bit in Lightroom. Shot on a Nikon D700 with a 2.8 16-35mm nikkor zoom.

Great work alex as always….i’ll have to come up for a coffee one day when you’re up there again! Are you still displaying some of your photos?

  • alexkess replied

Thanks Greg. Yeah 8 of my photos are still up for display at Cafe Jolie in Jannali. I am usually doing coffees there now Mon to Fri 6:30 to 10:30am. I am also down in Cronulla quite a bit on Saturday early morning shoots of the Sutherland Shire Flickr Group . Maybe we should start something similar on Redbubble.

Maybe it could be like a sutherland shire hdr group? Would be good to see and learn other peoples techniques for hdr.

  • alexkess replied

I think HDR will be definitely a big part of the group. Let me know if you would be interested to help me host the group.
