Boulevard Haussman (Paris) by

Forty years have not done much to improve the traffic although the cars and buses may have changed a bit. Scanned from one of my early images taken on Agfa transparency film – converted to grayscale and processed.

Photographed in April 1972.

Featured on the Redbubble home page January 2011.

  • Thanks for looking and commenting on this image. One of the benefits of getting older is my film library has historic value! I am enjoying rediscovering some treasures in my archives.

By it’s vehicles shall it’s age be known. My first car was a mini like that. Nostalgia in’t what it used to be. Cheers Alex!

  • Guess what? My first car was also a Mini almost identical to the one here. I love the pairing of two cars in the centre lane. The Citroën 2CV (one of the ugliest cars in the known universe) and the Mini (one of the prettiest – please pardon the bias).
