There’s something beautiful about a framed image hanging serenely on a wall. We’re extremely proud of our sustainably sourced frames and believe there’s really no better way to enhance a stunning photograph. We’re pleased as punch to say they’ve adorned galleries and homes from London to Los Angeles.
Art comes in many shapes and sizes, and our framed prints are built to fit each of them. The final dimensions will depend on the image you choose, but to give you an idea here are the most common photographic sizes:
Taken from a lane in Montmartre, Paris.
Handheld (plus some leaning on a wall) 1/10 sec ISO 1600. Grayscale conversion by desaturation and selective brightening of features. Canon 5D
Taken in January 2006 – 604 views as at 18/5/10.

Excellent work Alex, A superb mono and another fav for me.
Thanks Simon especially as I know how much you like your b&w work.

Thanks. Now to work out how I can get back to Paris ASAP!
A gorgeous shot!! I have a similar one taken in daylight, however this night shot and your postprocessing make it SHINE!!
Thanks Karen. It shows how we can photograph the same thing differently.
What an incredibly dramatic shot! I remember walking this road up to Sacred Coeur when I was there, such a great sight. It’s really given Montmatre such historical value in this shot.
Thanks. Doing the processing of this image took me back …. dreams of doing nothing except wandering around Paris …
Thanks again Scott.
great mood and lighting! well done.
Thanks Justin. It felt just like it looks here.
Beautiful contrast and perspective. An example of night photography to aspire to… now I just need to get to Paris!
Thanks Shane. You have spotted may plan as well. Missed out on the big lotto the other day so I will have to work on more conventional plans to get back to Paris. I hope I can keep up the standard of b&w work.
Fantastic night photography, mono works really well here. A fave!
Thanks. I have a colour version of this scene and I almost used it – I still may upload it. I really enjoy night photography – maybe it is the solitude – it is almost like meditation.
excellent shot, brilliant capture!
Thank you Alessandro. Cities with such old buildings are a wonderland for people like us.
Hey Alex,,, instant fav,, the tones you have here are marvelous..fantastic pov and compostion!! ’-)
Thanks Linda. Paris is such a good place for night photography. I did not have a tripod with me so I am glad I did not consume much wine that night – I could hold the camera still. The big challenge here was the post production. I did not want to over produce the final image. I am very happy with the end result.
