I visited Cyprus three years ago with my Dad, who was returning for the first time in over 30 years after spending a year there in the 70s, and this is exactly the kind of Cyprus he remembered and expected us to find. We saw little trace of this slow-paced way of living, but maybe that’s because we didn’t head to the Karpas Peninsula (and I’m rather glad to see such an ‘unspoilt’ place still remains somewhere)! Such a beautifully framed and shot image, gorgeous work Alex!
Many thanks Georgie, I’m happy this help to restore some memories for you and your dad – sometimes you get lucky but so you have to capitalise on the opportunity. Sadly sights like this are becoming more rare even in this part of the island.
