Sculpted sandstone rock formations in the Lower Antelope Canyon near Page in Northern Arizona. Flash floods have scoured the rock to provide these beautiful textured shapes and enhanced by the reflected sunlight from above creating these semi-abstract patterns.

    Many thanks Mieke, this was a close-up of the wider vertical version which perhaps put this section of the more impressive and secluded Lower Canyon in perspective. You’ll need a tripod and long exposures for this place but its well worth it.
