I am a member of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society which works to stop the illegal killing of whales and dolphins and painted this image and wrote the poem because I feel so strongly about this issue and love those beautiful dolphins so much. They are very intelligent and are cruelly slaughtered by the Japanese in their thousands. I did this in soft pastel and hope you like it and this little poem which comes from my deepest heart – Alex

We speak to you
You do not hear
We tell you of the men we fear
We whistle, click and do our best
To give the message
Let us rest!
Give us peace!
Let us be!
To live our lives in this earth’s sea
If not, our demise
will drive us up, into the skies,
Becoming angelic and divine
At last – free from man’s design

Driven from the sea……………..
Celestial in the heavens we will be !
