She sealed the box,
Threw it into the empty room,
Locked the door,
Ate the key,
And vowed never again to give in to such vulnerability.
But her stomach heaved
With yearning to rid itself
Of the key to all her fantasies.
Her heart physically ached
For love of the contents
Of that treacherous box
Which had given her heart such joy.
However, true to her word,
She stayed out of that room,
Out of that box,
And lived out her days
Both faithfully
And miserably.

And how many boxes does each individual try to rid themselves of? Beautifully done!
