theres a mob of roo’s where I bushwalk daily.. we’re sort of mates now through familiarity.. this seems a much better daily discovery to me.. I hope you can run
On our mountain, if you can stand upright you’re doing well, and just not breaking a leg is a real feat. :-)
Pademelons (little wallabies the size of cats) come to the door for sweet potato and apple slices.
The photo was taken in the bush outside Whyalla.

Whyalla? ah my daughter lives over that way in Ceduna. I should have recognized the bushes. Blood red earth with metal flora. But here you capture the raw beauty of Eyre country.. finches beeping in coccophany amongst trees grown in iron filings. Who’d have thought i’d finally get a snap of the Nullarbor Nymph. Great shot guys
“Blood red earth” ….. yes, primal stark landscape. Almost expect a dinosaur around the next outcrop.
We lived in Coffin Bay as well, and Tailem Bend ….. ’
small world eh.. a mate lives at Coffin and I drive through Tailem 3-4 times a week. In fact I designed an extension on the Council Chambers at Tailem. I thought the councillors meeting in the kitchen was a bit below par really.. oddly for local government they were quite happy with the way it was.. god I love the bush
Coffin Bay was magical. Used to fish close to “The Brothers” with seals basking on the rocks. We taught in Tailem Bend the year before “Those were the days”. It was a fun year, really nice people, as people in the bush usually are.
lovely form – if i had such a model…. you look like a hippie chick with the head-band!! hahahahaaa
The headband was for the shoot, the sundress could be worn anywhere casual in those days.
