Early morning walk by Alenka Co

Currently unavailable for purchase

In summer, early morning was our favourite time for walking on the beach. The sun is just beginning to light up the sand, most of the beach still in the shade of the dunes. Behind us the track leading down to the beach, a few light poles, some fencing and a sunshade are the only signs of human occupation. A wild beach stretches out into the distance before us, untouched by development.

That was four years ago. Now the beach is overlooked by MacMansions.

what a tale with a sad story. but at least you both lived it during the pre-occupation days so count your blessings!! sounded like paradise while it lasted

  • It was one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Sadly, people think they can improve on paradise. I thought this beach was safe, I thought everyone would want to preserve its unique beauty ( a big tourist attraction in itself ) but you can’t fight money ….. it insinuates itself everywhere.

  • That sweet, funny, full of joy run of hers did put smiles on our faces, didn’t it? :)) They were lovely times, Charlie, lots of fond memories there. Lovely to share with you, then and now :))
