Euryale (meaning " the strength " in ancient Greek), in the Greek mythology, was one of Gorgons, three terrifying sisters in brass hands, sharpened canine and the hair of life, venomous snakes. Her, as her sisters, could transform any stone living being with her fixed glance. She and her sister Stheno were immortal, contrary to the last sister, Medusa, who was t a mortal. They were the daughters of Phorcys and Ceto.
Euryale is the Gorgon of the sexual perversion, Stheno, that of the moral perversion, and Medusa that of the intellectual perversion.
