“ULARU” is enormous !, You have no idea, how huge it is till you find yourself standing beside it .Most images show it from a distance, sitting on a far horizon, and as a result they don’t tell the true story of it’s size.

Nice Red! its true about the scale and its these bloodwoods that are the best and only giver of scale for Uluru, the average high of the bloodwoods around Uluru is 8-10m. A rich colour and excellent play with shadow over the contours of the rock.

I can’t work out where you took this from… no matter.

  • Thanks Steve, on this occasion l was using a telelens on a Pentax 6/7 this tends to give a very different view.

This rock has always held a compelling fascination for me. Truly a magical place, maybe one day I will see it. Great series Albert.
