I’m interested in being on the mailing list, definitely. At the moment I haven’t got a DSLR, just a basic digital camera but hopefully soon I’ll be able to get one and participate… I’m especially interested in dance, sports, fashion, catwalk, landscape, storms, long exposure, macro and photo journalism. Almost everything really!

I’d love to be in on this too! I’m into studio portraits, products, food, B+W, long exposure and architecture….pretty much anything really. Would love to have access to a studio and lighting equipment. Haven’t had much of a chance since i finished uni and i’m a bit rusty. :-(

Such an awesome idea, and massively keen to be involved, but as you know i’ll most likely have to miss the first shoot due to existing committments.

Areas of particular interest to me are:

- Anything derelict, crumbling and spraypaint infested
- Industrial portraiture (think high fashion in a junk yard etc)
- light painting / night shots (and I mean night, not dusk)

Stuff I have no particular experience or hell bent passion for, but I think would be awesome for creative challenge for that exact reason:

Food photography (who can be the most creative?!)
Dance (I’m thinking in the dark with a strobe light, but that’s just me…)

Generally up for anything and never need encouragement to get dragged off to the middle of nowhere puzzling over how the hell to shoot something and make it look fabulous – the more obscure and challenging the better… Really abstract themes work well for me.

Hi Alateia, I would love to be involved somehow. I am doing a couple of photography subjects this semester and I think that I could tie the Shooters Gallery and my assignments in nicely.

I am interested in
-Long exposure and movement
-black and white or colour low light so I can play with light
-working with my Holga, gaining more experience and knowledge with that.

Would love to be involved – I miss my darkroom, so interested in B&W, plus land/sea/city scapes and what I can only describe as portraiture, will to try anything though

Hi Alateia, I’d like to get involved in a local Melbourne shoot, probably in the areas of urban cityscapes, fashion, dance and others. I have few of my own ideas as well that I’d eventually like to get happening. I am also in the process of learning strobist lighting technques (off-camera flash triggered wirelessly) if anyone is keen to experiment and get involved let me know. Cheers :)
