Alateia: glances down towards what should be shoes to discover THONGS and, WAIT! whats this then??? PURPLE PLAID PANTS ........ (?)
Q. So David, what do you do when you need a JUMP START?
A. Go jump in the sea & Surf if there is any
Q. and what puts the ‘B’ in your BUZZ??
A. Nice weather, happy people, & anything that move’s.
Q. why did you start doing what you do with the click factor?
A. My mum took a photography course I picked up her passion.
Q. hmmm, and how long have you been this way David?
A. I started when I was about 16
Q. and why do you persist then???
A. To make money off my photo’s so I can buy more equipment, travel to more places to further feed my passion
Q. what are you planning for this year?
A I would like to try new techniques & styles & try new equipment
Q. so, how much do you mess with your snaps Dave, ...can i call you Dave, Dave?* (er-he-hemm)
A. Barely any editing, I like to take the image as it is… My only photo I have manipulated is “Sam Backflip Sequence” (Quite proud of it, check it out:)
Q. ok; so far so good, one wonders, what music puts a smile on your face?
A. Funeral For A Friend (Mood depending).
Alateia: eyes widen as she slowly lowers her gaze to admire
her JIMMY CHOO SHOOOZ (perfect opportunity) and sighs
Q. given the chance when out and about in clickdom, what do you utterly
*‘PIG OUT ON?’
A Thai Food
Q. well, has anyone taken you under wing and shown you how to be a
REAL PHOTOGRAPHER?
David: wriggles his bum back into his seat, clears his throat while swiping his unruley hair with his hand at an attempt to look ‘together’
A. No training, just alot of practice
Q. What Dave, makes your PHOTOGRAPHIC SKIN CRAWL
A. Anything that moves & grabs your attention.
Q. and so D, in contrast what makes your PHOTOGENIC SKIN TINGLE the most?
A. Pushing boundaries & taking crazy photo’s in crazy situations…
(i.e. Photographing extreme sports while in the middle of the action.)
