THE END OF THE ROAD
SEGAL, FRANCE
Driving into Segal after visiting the Castle of Bouillon, the house at the end of the road captured my attention and began to lure me.
I HAD TO GO INSIDE! Johan check that house out! lets go in and take some shots!
INTERDIT! but Johan found a way around the back. The gate was ajar so we squeezed to get in.
Homeless people had made part of it a semi residence, where exactly we could not see.
It was a maze that went up and down and even further down the bowels of which lurked in the earth.
We found a stairway that was the only way up. The stairway was burnt out it seemed as though the fire took the top floors only. We helped each other up and onto the second floor. There were no footprints in the ash and the smell of smoke still lingered. How long ago was the fire? no idea.
It was very spooky, 3 floors above ground level and im not sure how many below but did not want to find out.
