For the best result when printing on a black shirt it’s better to completely remove all the black from the PNG file, that way you’ve just got the remaining pieces of the puzzle sitting on the black.

  • OK, thats good for a png, what about a jpg?

It’s better, for t-shirts, to save your file as PNG (works better with the colour set up on the t-shirt printing process). When you save your file in Photoshop just change the file type to PNG, which allows you to keep empty spaces on the page (whereas JPG will usually flatter it down and fill those spaces. Drop me a bubblemail if you need a hand with the process :-)
