Taken with a Canon 20D and a Canon 17-40mm L lens. 100 ISO, f 11 and 2/3-stop over-exposposure on the meter reading.
This was a very misty morning and I’d got up at 4.00am to position myself on the hill overlooking the castle. The mist shrouded the castle and made it melt and dissolve to become a part of the atmosphere itself. The castle hardly looked solid at times. It was such a beautiful sight over the two to three hours I was there and the lighting and mists were ever changing, presenting me with challenges to capture the beauty before me.
