This was taken at one of my favourite New Forest ponds at around sunrise. It was, of course, foggy and very cold which seems to be the norm these days. If I can’t feel my feet, then it’s been a good morning.

The sun was appearing and disappearing every now and again so I had to set the shot up and wait for the right moment to take the photo.

I threw a stone into the water so the image had some foreground interest and it turned out pretty well IMO. The ripples add enough to the shot withiut being overdone. But it’s up to the viewer to agree or disagree with that point.

I hope you like the shot and I’ll start to post more once I’ve re-processed my better photos.
