This was taken at Kimmeridge Bay in Dorset ( UK ) as the sun had just dipped below the horizon. The sky was incredible and one of the best sunsets I’ve ever photographed. The tide was coming in and I was up to the limit of my wellie boots, so I had to get the photo quickly. Just a few seconds after this was taken the seaweed encrusted rock was submerged by the sea and disappeared from view.
The Jurassic Coast of Dorset is a World Heritage Site and runs from Swanage in the East to Lyme Regis in the West.

Beautiful !
Thanks for your comment Sylvia.
I’ve only just joined this site and up-loaded three photos today so it’s lovely to have interest shown already.
Kind regards, Alan.
In the 50’s we took our holidays in a tent at Durdle Door every year for ages.
