Rose In the Winter
I tried to write a poem to explain how I feel, but no words can express the gratitude I long to reveal. You came into my world through a mere email letter; yet in your own special way, you’ve made my life better. So how can I thank someone who gave me the sun, the stars, the sky? I don’t think it’s possible, but I promise I’ll always try. But for now, I can only say that you have been, and will always be, as dear as a rose in the winter to me. Alan.
Friendship
A friend is someone who is there for you
Whether you are crying, laughing or feeling blue
A friend shows you respect and understanding
Who is there for you and know where you standing
Trust is an important part in this bond
You do things for the other above and beyond
Being there without judging the others personality
You treat that friend like they are part of you family
A friend like this is really hard to find
Sometimes you think you found one and is kind
From the start but in the mean time robbing you blind
Using you for selfish reasons keep that in mind
When you find a friend in a part of your life
One who keeps you up and helps you strive
In all you believe in and wanting to do
That is a friend with a heart so true
So now I have written the meaning of a friend
I wrote this with a personal intend
That if you have a true friend like that right now
Appreciate, love and show them how
A true friend should really be to someone
Important and make them feel like they belong
In your life like part of your family
That is how friendship should really be ….well be happy evry time…alan

This is very honestly written and so true Alan. There may be lots of aquaintances in peoples lives, but true friends are not as easy to come by. I am lucky to have a couple. I hope you have many. Thank you for your emotions.
