Hi Alan. For the purposes of “A Garden somewhere” and to get a bit of variety in the shots, I’m judging a garden to be something that can be either man made or natural, as long as it is of a well maintained space and your shot certainly falls into that category, but the defining factor for me is if I could spend any amount of time there just enjoying the vista presented in the photo, and I could certainly do that with your photo. I see it as being no different to a photo of a town square that has a bit of garden amongst the pavers and a church or other buildings in the background. Cheers, Graham.
