Nicely capture, Alan. I like the blue filtering to this. Gives it a feel of being photographed in the 50s or 60s. :)

Thanks for that! Yes, I had a great time in Santa Rosa, with quite a lot of Route 66 roadside eyecandy. The people in the restaurant were very friendly and the Mexican food great!

The blue tones are perfect! Santa Rosa is a great Route 66 destination – plenty of photo opportunities. Good job on this one…

This is a fantastic shot. There are a lot of these 66 places across the country. I know of one in Arizona. You could do a whole travelog on nothing but these. Nice!!!

I think this is one of your best.. there is a sign inside White Sands Missile Base, on the Alamagordo-El Paso road, which encourages visitors to call into the Missile Base shop. I wanted to stop and take a pic of it but the traffic was too heavy and i felt a bit tweaky about photographing a US missile base.

Thanks for all the compliments… I feel I might blush!

I have a site with a whole lot of Route 66 images at www.motherroadimages.com

As you can see, I’m a bit of a fan. I hope to get all these images on RB, but time is short as I’m heading back to cover more New Mexico and Arizona R66 in a few days.

    All the best.
