I began painting about 25 years ago. I took a class in tol`e painting using oils. I loved it an did many decorative pieces on wood, glass, metal or most anything that would hold still! I did crafting with my husband. He would cut out the items and I would paint them. I became interested in watercolors several years ago and they have become my first love. I get much joy from the many hours I spend in my small studio in the lower level of our home. I am a member of the local art league and have hung work in our performing arts center as well as a few shops.

I taught art in a school for a few years as a volunteer and really loved working with youth.

Currently I accept commissions to paint portraits from photos of children, pets, homestead or other subjects patrons choose in watercolor.
