I am very protective of the gentle deer that roam our town and always get concerned when one of them exposes himself in open territory. There are so many people who illegally unleash their dogs in this area. This youngster was wandering near the Sheep River in Okotoks, Alberta, Canada. January 19, 2011. There were four others parked in the nearby trees enjoying a warm day for a change.

i agree, this works very nicely in b/w. i really like the bands of light and shadow in the snow. i have a soft spot for deer in snow too. well done.
