A series of very old photographs taken by my great-grandfather and grandfather who founded Souvenir Photo Studio in the early 1900’s, in Radville, Saskatchewan.

This is my father, 1902 – 1984, who is greatly missed. Judging by the residence in the background I assume this picture is 1930’s vintage.

CHALLENGE WINNER for “Furry Friends Of the Past” in the Days Gone By group.

Wow, This is awesome and very cool. :o)

  • These old photos are so very special when we think of the lack of amenities in those days. This photo is around 70 years old itself!

Wonderful series Al! I know you appreciate having them — thanks for sharing!

  • Many thanks Leanna. I am just happy that many others appreciate this history as well. For me it is not just the old photographs, but the subjects and the photographers that are pieces of my heritage.
