Caught this storm on the horizon on the way home tonight, just East of Okotoks, Alberta. It is reminiscent of some captures I have seen of hurricanes…. Hope none of our neighbors suffered any damage.

    This capture definitely reminds me of the storms and hurricanes we have in Florida, and interestingly, when I look to the sky and see one approaching, the phase I utter is, “Something wicked this way comes…” Fantastic capture of this dramatic sky,

    I honestly thought I was seeing the formation of a huge tornado at first. It was a mighty impressive sky.

    It was one of those days where photo opportunities were around every corner. I really expected to hear about lots of damage from this storm but never heard a thing….. go figure.

    i thought so too and was waiting to hear later news of damage or a possible tornado, and heard absolutely nothing! I was so surprised this obviously did not cause any damage anywhere!
