My friends were dropping by rope into this 130+-foot pit at Stephens Gap in north Alabama. For a coupl eof hours on a sunny day, you can see these amazing sun beams shining down into the pit. It’s a beautiful site. There is a waterfall in there, too, but hard to see with the slow shutter speed making it blend into the rays of light. This place was mentioned in a National Geographic article this month, also.
