peep my page for a few teasers to the Drake House, a beach shack located on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, that myself and a few others attacked last week with our power tools.
We read “House of Leaves” – an amazing chronicle – to all hit the house on the same page (pardon za pun).
Campbell and I worked with the corrugated iron roof, while the others intervened inside…..
The house has just been demolished, so our work shows the house peeling its first layer off, an undressing if you will….revealing the skeleton of the house itself.
We like to image that the house kept undressing after we left, so that when the demolision crew turned up, the house had already demolished itself.
