The fireplace is in the centre of the house and this provided heat to the front room. This backs on to the kitchen where an old wood stove lays rusted. You can see through it now but remnants remain. What an interesting place.

I do love coming across places like this. I would have been very excited to see this lovely old fireplace.
As you know, Perth is renowned for pulling buildings down in a flash so this one was a great find. It was fairly creaky in the wind too but that made it all the more exciting! This double fireplace was fab. Thanks Eve. :))
