I started to play the piano when I was seven years old and it provided the soundtrack to my early years and a means of expression where words failed me. I remember joining dozens of other children at the annual eisteddfod as we all played the same piece of music for the judges. It even struck me then that no two people play the same. My soul had a voice.

piano, music, soul, akrotiri

I live in the Northern Territory of Australia. It is rugged, remote and ancient. I love to capture moments that we may easily miss or pass by. I need to slow down, live life, notice the little things and breathe….. rather than rush to my next meeting through the artificial world. Beauty is all around us, the more you look, the more you see…
Unless stated, my images are straight from the camera with minimal processing.

Love the perspective and the prose—yours? Eloquent! Perhaps you could make a written post and add the piano as a side piece? I think that’s possible.

  • Thank you Jan – yes, the prose is mine. Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll give that a go!
