Delicate Tea Tree - Leptospermum incanum by

Leptospermum incanum
Featured – All About Flowers – 28Sept2011

Native to the South West of Western Australia, this tea tree species is a delicate and beautiful bloomer. Although it looks fragile it is a hardy plant and provides a stunning range of colour. This was taken near the Zig Zag scenic drive in Gooseberry Hill, WA.

Growth – shrub from 0.6m-3m high
Flower – white/pink from July to December
Habitat – granite outcrops, sandy soils,

I live in the Northern Territory of Australia. It is rugged, remote and ancient. I love to capture moments that we may easily miss or pass by. I need to slow down, live life, notice the little things and breathe….. rather than rush to my next meeting through the artificial world. Beauty is all around us, the more you look, the more you see…
Unless stated, my images are straight from the camera with minimal processing.
