The Old Farm, Strawberry Hill is located in Middleton Rd, Albany, Western Australia. It was the first farm in WA and commenced in 1827 within a few months of the military settlement of nearby King George Sound. Stock and vegetables were kept at the farm and grown for the survival of soldiers and early settlers.
The two storey granite extension (right) was built in 1836.
Only a small area remains (1.6ha) of the former 52 hectare property which includes another small cottage and beautiful gardens and grounds.
