My grandma likes this place, Komarovka village. Here is the small house and small garden. This day the harvest is already gathered, but grandma doesn’t want to rest.Autumn of year, autumn of life.

This is soo beautiful again. Yes, we may not rest in the autumn of our lives….cause if we do…..we start to really turn old. Oh, Masha’s art and your art go well together………a lovely couple, °smile°
Many thanks to you, Andrea! I wish to reveal small secret: I and Masha, we are together many years, sometimes she can see my dreams and I can read her thoughts :)
Your colors and the leaf details are so very well painted, Sergei!
Really gorgeous…nice atmospheric perspective as well.
Thank you, Ken! That morning mist helped me a lot.
Love this. So evocative.
This picture touches not me only. Your comment – reward to me. Thank you, Frannie.
this is very beautiful ..and Komarovka sounds like home :) …and grandma is grandma just as I know her too :)…. and it is so nice to hear about you and Masha … but sorry I know it was a small secret … lol …. all the best to both of you in 2010 … you both are fantastic artists :)
Dear Anna, thank so much for kind reply! I’m intrigued a bit :) Are we familiar? Anyway I’m (and Masha) glad to meet you and happy 2010 to you!
Sergei … I did not mean to intrigue …. apologies … Komarovka sounds like home because I come from Czech republic and many places there have a name of a very similar sounding ….. and grandmothers at our place used to be just like what you’ve captured here and i miss it …… and just in the comment above there is a mention about you and Masha which I could not miss just by looking down this page …. Masha’s works i have noticed long ago and she is on my watchlist …… …. thank you for wishes …. all the best to you always
Another great work. I like the way the warm light is catching the top half of your figure. I took a photo of some similar light just this evening.
Thank you so much, Sean! I like that kind of frontal light, when only edges of figures are touched by sun. It gives more atmoshere to the picture.
please add to the Just Watercolours group…anna : )
