this morning I went to the market and saw this:
two couples with a dog, first the dogs begin to play with each other and their owner smiled ,suddenly one dog began to bark and seemed to fight with the other…each owner took her dog away..the first tell to his dog"my dear this vicious dog would have bitten your nose’ and the other owner said to her husband"really it was the fault of that vicious dog!!’
this made me laugh and make me remember I have done a work on this subject!
acrylics on canvas covered with paper(40cmx50cm)

dog, woman, hat, yellow

Stray dogs, when they meet, sniff happy.
    They have nothing to lose.
Dogs on a leash when they meet, they look suspicious and growl.
    They fear losing their privileges.
My observation, has nothing to do with your work, which is SUPERWONDERFUL and full of splendid humor..

  • you are right with your comment Anna!maybe they have to prove something to their owner when thy are on leash..
    thank you my friend!

Oh wow Agnes- this is quite a story…I relate so much. Luckily our BIG dog is very friendly and the nervous little ones just make him smile instead…I love this lady’s female form…and my first though was, that this was not a dress I would walk our dog in as it is so tight! lol!

  • ahthank you Rose!the big dog thinks the woman is really silly !he was not interested at all by the small dog!and yes the dress is really tight but this way she walks very slowly..her dog has such tiny legs!!

Strong geometric shapes and colors depicts your story very well…especially like the angular ears and expressions on the dogs faces…

  • thank you very much Deborah!it’s kind of you!!
