Walking in from Elisabeth Street into this little arcade adjoining The Royal Arcade, happened to notice this young lady quickly scuttle up to and poke her head in through the doorway of a little cafe, which was closing … the owner was about to clean the coffee machine … last coffee of the day ordered just in the nic of time ;-)

Original colour image converted to b/w, because
of rather overpowering bright orange safety mesh!

Gorgeous diamond patterns and capture, Ell. Looks super in b&w (and probably especially so without the bright orange lower right).

  • Thank you Jan :o)
Yes, that mesh is just aweful! This image taken quickly so didn’t at first notice that mesh, or the orange safety bollard at the far end! :o( Had to make a very quick camera setting change for the other two ;o)
Aren’t those ‘diamonds’ something else? They are through the entire length and offshoots of the Royal Arcade, a fabulous step back in time feel to this place :o))
More ’diamonds here and here :o))

if you ever conduct a class on Lurking Undetected, count me in pls. Maybe, like Andrew (of the Saturday walk), you become invisible when you raise a camera to the eye?

  • ;o))

Maybe, but I doubt it ;o)
Lurking’s easier when the target (oops!) subject has their back to you :-D
