Any pointers???

Well, I am still hoping for that first sale and am curious if anyone has any tips on how to get there? I have tried to upload pictures that would appeal to all different types of people, but no one has taken the bait. Please let me know if you have any advice! Thanks!!!!

I’m still waiting too! I guess it takes time, because what I’ve seen, your art is very good!

Ajreece….....look forward, Christmas, haloween and father’s/mother’s day. Take photos of objects which would be something to do with special days or holidays. I’ve sold a couple of wedding bouquet photos in the summer because the majority of weddings are in the summer. Then just wait, good luck, Paul.

hey aj… i find that objects and nature sell well in the “art field”. Something that captures a person’s imagination away from being human. The only two things I sold were the picture of Guitar UpRizing and Cymbal and that was to a mother who had two sons that played those intruments and it was their birthday coming up. It was the right time for me because I wasn’t going to post those, but did, and a few days later, Viola!

People don’t generally purchase other peoples portraits unless its someone they know or its people in abstract form (surreal) and it can stir their emotions.

The best thing to remember is it takes patience and time for people to notice your skills and for you to find a market you are comfortable with.

I would like to work with you some day! Give me a ring!
    ~ peace!

I write poems baced on art and artist that inspire my passion to write.
I don’t sell stuff yet, but the networking here is a more priceless than any other social site I know of. If a writing gets no veiws or comments I remove or re-work it. I found joining groups that can reject your submissions as a good way to get feed back quickly (Meet requirements). Don’t use redBubble as a photo album (use you mySpace pics for that. Less is more here. Post only the home life shots that you feel represent your best-eye as an artist. That’s my honest 2 cents. I’ve only been here about a month. It challenges my fears to put art into the Public online. But here The public is all artists! I love it! Keep in touch. I hope this is ok, and not harsh sounding. Thanks for asking the question.
