The mono HDR covers up the rust and raggedy paintwork. I’m starting to feel bad now about making this carriage look too good… Anyway, it’s supposed to be a picture of a lamp post!

I find such travels fascinating.
Absolutely agree with Lois… the horizontal and vertical lines are mesmerizing!
I love seeing BW in HDR which is as successful as this cause it compresses the dynamic without going overboard as it often does in color work.
In any case, your composition is stunning and the logo and writing on the train adds as much mystery as the highly styliszed lamppost… which incidentally looks wonderfully out of place.
The effect this image carries is simple and yet massive at the same time and I totally love it !!
