Fabulous, how did you work out that angle was it done in post processing?? Love it perfection.

Hi Mary! Many thanks for your comment. There’s no post-processing here – the glasses were taped to a piece of wood that was tilted at an angle. They were then filled with the coloured liquids to a constant level.

How did I do it? Well, setting up the shot was quite easy – as is often the case, it was the lighting that was tricky.
The glasses were taped to a piece of wood that was tilted at an angle. They were then filled with the coloured liquids to a constant level. The camera was rotated so that the top of the frame was parallel with the tops of the glasses.
The lighting was from a 500W halogen lamp, directed onto the white wall behind.
