This is absolutely amazing, I really had to toss up, which one of the 3 images to feature, but this one stood out. Great composition.

Thank you so much, Alex – I really appreciate the support. I only recently discovered HDR and I am still amazed at the detail and tonal range that the process can expose.
rjcolby
Very effective in both tone and composition.

Wow – look at all those lights!!! This is a spectacular view and the sunset is incredible! As a kid, I was always so fascinated with the Empire State Building – especially after seeing King Kong! Excellent work!

Just fantastic. How did you get up there at the crack of dawn.. I didn’t think they’d be open at that hour.. well worth it however you did it.
AJM Photography replied
Many thanks for your comment, Mary. Actually, this was taken as the sun was setting.

John, this is totally massive. I also took this view while I was up there the same time as my Big Aple shot, but didn’t manage to keep the camera still… every other pic I took up there came out unsharp except for that one.
It’s a wonderful shot with those brightly lit avenues stretching out to the harbor… and I love what you did in post pro. Your stuff rocks!!
