One with its surroundings, sitting on the lilly pad, it embraces its place in life.

Canoeing through some swamp lands in the Northern Territory of Australia, there was this one vibrant and impressive flower that owned the whole area.

It stood up against all the odds and truly embraced it’s life and shared it with all living things to cross its path.

The brolga (an Australian crane bird) was lovely, but this small yet mighty flower was more impressive to me on the day.
