a good friend.
Today is my friend’s birthday,he turns 74 today. Eugene grows these roses at Hatzic Lake in Mission, BC.
They grow in many different shades of beauty. Some are yellow and red, pink and yellow, yellow and white, and all are from the same branch.
So today, my friend, who is going blind can only take in the wonderful smell a rose can give and cannot see them anymore. He can barely see me now, but always has a smile for me and my dog Gizmo. They manage to play ball together, as Gizmo runs down his long hallway to get the ball, and brings it back to his good buddy, Gene, just waiting for the next throw.
Happy Birthday to a great friend, and may you be blessed with some of these life time friends in your life.
