A solitary moment in time….
Summer has gone and now the winter has set in.

In this image there is slushy snow on the top layer of the lake. You can see the snow on the dock.
Taken last winter at Hatzic Lake, Mission, BC, Canada

Very cool shot! Glad for the description, bc I couldn’t tell at first that it was snow on a lake. Really beautiful!!!

  • The refelction would of been so much stronger of the umbrella, I just had to post it, it’s been looking at me for 2 years now!

That’s not a palm tree or a Margarita on the dock :o)))

    Beautiful negative space work aj!

  • This is a dock on the lake with the umbrella down for the winter. Thank you James, there is something I liked about it too, the solitude feeling of it all.

oooh love the minimal approach to this. very nice.

  • How does the blue appear on your screen? I notice that my images do not look the same on Fine Art America as they do here, isn’t that odd? do you use a calibrator for your monitor Adrian?
