In honor of the earthquake victims in Japan. May you all find your loved ones and keep them with you always.

With all the crazy things that mother nature is throwing this earth, another major disaster hits Japan. I am left speechless with all of this.

My first attempt at adding the Japanese touch to my work.

Compilation of 3 of my own images. Textures by Shadowhouse creations. Added my willow trees to a bird shot I took 2 weeks ago. The willlow trees represent peace and harmony to me and the bird is flying over the land and keeping everyone safe.

It’s too much, isn’t it Annie…I made everyone at work watch so they could understand the scope of the disaster…otherwise it is too far removed, and I think it becomes a nothing…you are right..Mother Earth is hitting some places so badly…

  • Australia, New Zealand and now Japan, and many other countries affected by all of this. This is not a “Nothing” Polly, you are so right to do this. Some really have no idea what is going on in the the world, and the gratitude I have at this very second for just being a poor artist is enormous, I am safe!

A wonderful tribute to those brave souls Annie – such a sad time for those brave souls in Japan. I’m so thankful to be safe and to have so much, my problems seem very small in comparison.

  • Oh how I feel for them! Terrible disaster!
