Homepage Feature – June 15, 2011
Well, first of all, I have to say hello to everyone here on RB! I have completed my move to the lake and have gone on holidays and I believe I can get back into the routine of creating my photographic art again!
So much has gone on here on RB, I am noticing so many great artists that I developed a friendship with are gone. It is disturbing for me, and I really had to decide wether I was going to stay or not. RB has been so great for me, and it is my decision to stay. I usually am the type to follow the others…………but not this time. This is home base for me. However, I will stay in touch with Rosie, I miss her so much, and will be adding some of my work on Blue Canvas in the next few weeks.
My first image I posted since my return received a homepage feature today, and I am so darn thrilled with this. This shot was created in Calgary, while on holidays without my NIkon D2X! I was using a small Canon digital! Better than not shooting at all, I think! I miss the quality, but once I gather a little money up, or lots of money, I will purchase another camera. NIkon wants $2,400 to repair my camera. For the moment I can just order another battery and have use it, but many things are wrong with it. I can still shoot with it when I get the battery again, but have no display, the focus is out of wack, I have to manually focus everything.
I am rambling on an on! I am so glad to be back here and see all of your great comments and artwork. I am so eager to view all of your works and comment on them. Please be patient as i try to catch up!
