As a child I lived in Africa, Chicago, Montreal, Seattle and British Columbia. Traveled to Europe with my family, never being left in the hotel room. My eyes have always been open and seen so many extremely beautiful and not so beautiful things.
I am self taught artist. I have been lost for 20 years. Trying to define who I am, struggling through life and fighting for my soul to shine
In 2008 I was given my Nikon D2X from my brother Steven, who I am eternally grateful. The gift of freedom.
Photography was also a passion for me 20 years ago, but I let it go, and now it is a part of me, or more I am a part of it.
I have much to learn, in the digital world. Most of my photographs are taken while walking my puppy Gizmo. Self portraits allow me to study myself and discover the world of portraiture. My eyes are open to all aspects of photography and I haven’t decided on which style I will focus on yet. There are no rules to what I shoot, there is something beautiful in everything.
I am free at last.
