Captured dream spirits in liquid medium given form.
By hand, through thought, I feel the vision and hear the colour.
The body sleeps, the mind wakes, the muse embraces the soul.
Echoes in dark, composed in song, sirens seduce the sailors light.
Silver rivers, dancing skys, hues in the black ice of coal,
Colours never imagined scribbled on the canvas mind.

Drawn by nature, Man painting the Universe
We quilt the fabric of our demise.
Spirit in the mist of mind alter reason,
Propagating logic, daring immortality
We make selves a slave of concept
No boundaries, no limits but thought alone.
Cursed by imagination, destiny made new,
Creating our twin in God’s image.

The final masterpiece of Art and Life
Becoming obsolete in motion, mind and feeling
Wanted, required, no longer needed.
Cloned to perfection physically whole
Snakes biting tails, circle broken
Immortality lost, shadows of souls in dark space
Memories eternal on a data base.

Artists' Lament(or Soliloquy)

A ‘frankenstein” inborn of us all where our mind, creativity, imagination will be Mankind’s downfall. We are cursed to create oursleves out of existance. That which makes us special is also our own Pandora’s Box.

Excellent work. Nice atmosphere and wonder. It almost seems to reflect an entity which contains two selves. One for the world and one for the true inner self. Very thought provoking. This poem is genius man.

wow….I truly thank you. I wasn’t sure of how my philosophy would translate into words and verse. I am quite new at this and not too sure of my new-found Art. Thanks again, think I will put up a couple tonight(now past midnight) in a kinda Valentine’s theme.
